Responsibilities

Translators:

• Respond to each service inquiry promptly
• Translate/Edit/Proofread into the target language as needed
• Research industry-specific terminologies and technical terms, if required
• Ensure the translation conveys the same meaning and tone
• Ensure the translation quality is maintained by taking references from other reliable sources and dictionaries
• Ensure that you meet deadlines irrespective of the workload
• Coordinate with team members and subject matter experts to ensure that translation meets their requirements

Interpreters:

• Respond to each service inquiry promptly
• Provide high-quality language interpretation service for our clients as needed (in-person events or online events)
• Perform other related duties as needed
• Cultural Competency and Professionalism required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in translating, interpreting, or a similar field
• Additional certification in linguistics will be preferred
• Proven work experience as a Translator or an Interpreter in a language services firm or reputable organization
• Proficient in both source and target languages
• Excellent time management skills
• Good team player
